Tune and Sarah Meggott

Elizabeth Dean was baptised 26th September, 1802 Thorne, Yorkshire, England.

Marriage: Robert Tune labourer married Elizabeth Dean on 25th November 1822 at St Andrew
Epworth. Witnesses were Mary Ann Dean and Robert Meggitt [sic]

Sarah Tune - born 15th May, died 5th October 1823, Lincolnshire - unconfirmed

William Dean Tune - born 24th May, 1824 Lincolnshire

George Tune  born 17th June  1826 – came to Australia Lincolnshire

James Tune  born 30th September 1828. Died 1835 aged 7 unconfirmed

Ann Tune  born  April 3,1831. Died July 2,1832 unconfirmed

Ann Tune born May 17, 1834, London, Ontario as per 1901 census entry and death details.
Died 10th May 1912 Stratford, Ontario. Married

1851 Canadian Census [indexed as June on Ancestry] shows Robert, an Inn Keeper and
Elizabeth with children Ann aged 18 born Canada, James 16, Elizabeth 15, Mary Ann 13,
Sarah 11, Robert 9 and John aged 6 residing at Burford, Brant County, Ontario. There religion
is Episcopal. Son Thomas appears to be residing at Woodstock near older brother William and
his wife.


1861 Canadian Census shows Robert, a confectioner born England aged 61, methodist and
Elizabeth born England aged 58 residing in   with Thomas and James, both aged 24 born
Canada, Mary Ann aged 20, Sarah aged 18, Robert aged 16. There house was two storeys and
brick



Deaths:

Elizabeth Tune died 1st October 1877 at Norfolk Ontario. Cause of death was billious fever
which she had suffered for 2 weeks.
She is recorded as being a methodist
